As both a sculptor and a surgeon, I am very interested in hands and try to incorporate them into most sculptures if possible. Hands are more action-oriented than faces. They break, gesture, point, cut, shake, sooth, hold, comfort, throw, sew, eat, pray, love, sculpt, and much much more.

Isabella Stewart Gardner was an avid art collector and a patron of the arts. I am fortunate to live at Twelve Lanterns, the name given by her to a house she built in Marblehead, Massachusetts in 1911. This is the location of my home and workshop. Thank you for visiting this website.  I hope you will enjoy these sculptures.
